you won’t believe this….

haven’t been able to post in awhile. training for my last fight on the 28th except im heading up north tomorrow because i was  picked  to  be  in the  movie    the  marine  2….I’m  not  kidding  its  got  me  laughing  my  ass  off

One more time ?

Things are cool here i took the weekend off training my thumb is jammed from last fight but the swelling is starting to go down now. I’m considering going to bangkok to train for a couple of weeks or maybe I’ll stay here I’m not sure yet. My copy of the 70 kilo belt is almost finished i should have it in a couple of days. I think im going to take a shot at the open class belt i can’t ever do it again so win lose or draw at least i didn’t leave anything on the table. Thanks for all the emails and keep them coming they really help !!!!!

What to do now ?

I have been talking with people here at the camp about what to do now. Do i want to fight again and who is the question. I’m really ready to come home and get back to work and my injury list reads like a train wreck. The hardest part of a fight is the training before and I’m not sure its in my heart to go through it right now, i also know if i don’t do it now i won’t do it at all.  The one fight i want is in the open class but that fight isn’t without a list of injuries even if i win and I’m really tired of hurting everyday. They also pitched me the guy that Ray Elbe and Elliot both fought and lost to.  They are both tough guys especially Ray. I am considering going to Bangkok to train for a week or so and just sort out my thoughts if i don’t fight Maumi again and try and take his belt i will wish i would have and if i do and lose it will be because my heart isn’t really in traing. I’m not sure what to do and will have to decide this week. Thanks for all the emails and support from everyone hope to see all of you soon Hopefully we can all get together when i get back maybe Jim will have his bar finished and we can meet there…….keep in touch

Second round T.K.O. !!!!!!!!!!!

It was kind of a crazy fight he closed the distance quick and moved a lot. It started with me landing some hard punches and him clinching and throwing knees. The way he came forward was awkward and i had to throw punches at weird angle’s. he threw some some low kicks i checked his shins a couple of time and landed some hard punches and an elbow before i threw him down and he didnt get back up not sure if the punches took there toll on him or if he knew he was going to get really knocked out and played it safe either way it was a pimp win with a great T.K.O  and a championship belt!!!  Haven’t lost yet in the Jims Body Shop shorts Thanks everybody for all the support and emails hope i can get some pics up……

leaving in a cpl hours for the stadium…..

People keep asking me if im ready and all i can say is it is what it is at this point not much training i can do in the next couple hours. Im just chillin out right now listening to a little Kid Rock, ate a high carb meal and im starting to get a little antsy want to get it done. Thanks everyone check back a little later ill post fight results….

Bangla championship on for the 26th…

I forgot to update this i didn’t fight at Bangla on tues not really sure why it wasn’t on our part i feel i was certainly ready. The fight is on for this sun so this morning was my last hard training now i sit on my hands for a cpl of days. Thanks for all the emails it was good to hear from Jordan and Johnny Shultz . I wish i could post pics on here but i will bring some home. Congrats to Alan the talent Belcher on his win over Ed Herman all the Thai trainers that here were yelling every time you threw a kick or an elbo. They talked to me today about fighting the 6th im not really hip on the idea because if i get hurt or get a bad cut it could effect my chances of getting another shot at the W.M.P.O open class championship i really want to split his scalp, thats a fight that would mean something to me. Anyway ill keep in touch and update this again soon

Bangla Stadium Championship Oct 21st !!!!

Fight is confirmed for the 21st !  I’m pretty excited about this fight if i win i take home the Bangla Stadium belt. This is a lower level belt than the open class but it is still a pimp win if i get it. I’m amazed at all the talent here its really almost surreal the other day i was sparring with BJJ world champion Tony Edwardo and then John Fitch who just fought George St Pierrer  for a UFC world Title shows up in our ring. I never could have imagined when i was watching UFC videos back in 2000 i would be here it’s amazing.  I’m starting to get a little nervous not because i have to fight but because i really want to win. Muay Thai is such an unpredictable sport and anything can happen, one elbo can open up a cut that ends the fight or a knockout punch or kick out of the blue can end a fight never mind a rib cracking knee to the mid section. Getting hurt is not my worry getting cut or running out of gas is more likely to happen. I’ve tried to upload pics and video and cant seem to get it to work but if tues goes well i will send the stuff to Ryan and have him post it for me…thanks for all the support and keep the emails coming it does keep me motivated!!!!!

PIMP WIN WITH A 3RD ROUND K.O. !!!!!

Not a TKO but a KAY OHHHH !!!!!!!! he wasn’t getting up, eyes closed, kay ohhhhh !!! it felt good to get a win all the hard work payed off and i really take no credit all glory to God and great trainers Robert, Samart, Nung, and Kay. It takes a team to build a fighter and all there hard work is the reason im a better fighter. I haven’t seen the fight video yet as soon as its out ill post a link and some pics thanks for all the support cant wait hope i get a chance to fight again soon……….P.S. I DID THE JIMS BODY SHOP SHORTS PROUD !!!!!

Few Hours left until game time!!!

Hope everybody is doing well im just chilling out until i leave for the stadium. Patong stadium is the biggest here and puts on a great show. Im just dealing with the prefight jitters I really want to do well. The anxiety is always worse than the fight. one thing is i havent seen this guy fight and dont have any video of him to study. Muay Thai is a crazy sport unless youve seen it up close the stadium is hot and muggy the crowd is a mix of thai’s and tourists. There’s a lot of yelling because of the betting and crowd yelling encouragement to there favorite fighter. The fighters are oiled down and wear small gloves on top of hard tape to protect their hands. Opponents fight using powerfull punches Brutal knees to the body and head kicks using the shin bone like a baseball bat and fast and brutal elbos that produce huge cuts and knockouts. Most fights never go the distance most end because one fighter is injured and cannot continue. fighters warm up in back concrete rooms waiting for their chance to fight while tourists take photos like their at the zoo. I feel pretty good and pray to god i can take it to this guy tonight hope everyone is well i’ve tried to upload pics on here but cant figure it out so will bring plenty home……………

Next Fight oct 2 !!!!!!
